We're all here to rock life and retirement.

We need your help to keep this community educational, positive, and useful.

These guidelines ensure we're creating a place that’s valuable for everyone.

Focus on knowledge sharing.

Avoid giving out specific advice, particularly investment advice.

We want to foster an environment where healthy debate is encouraged and where everyone is celebrated for their experience, stories, and perspectives. Our goal is to tackle big questions and work together to discover all of the potential answers. That can only happen when we are committed to collaboration and true knowledge sharing.

And, like we always say on the Retirement Answer Man podcast, don’t take specific investment advice from us because we don’t know you or your situation. Likewise, please don’t GIVE specific investment advice to others that you don’t know.

Be respectful.

Please be kind and constructive when you add a new post, ask a question, or comment on someone else's contribution. Snark, spam, or inappropriate content will be deleted immediately. And along those lines…

No politics.

We get that taxes aren’t fun, and today’s social climate makes it feel like politics and news are anyone’s game. You have so many places to air your opinions. This is not one of them.

Treat the RRC like a classy (ish) dinner table. No talk of politics or religion. Also, no elbows.

Provide value.

We love it when our members share links and resources! If you do, add some commentary or give us some context about why you care about this particular article or resource and why it’s valuable to the community.

Please note: We do not take responsibility for any content shared on the Site, so please use your best judgment when following outside links.

Please don't promote.

Feel free to share your knowledge and experiences with the others in our community, but please do not promote yourself or your business. Spamming, soliciting, or self-promotion will not be tolerated.

Have fun!

We genuinely believe that talking about money, planning, and retirement doesn’t have to be boring. Get to know each other, ask lots of questions, learn something new, and have a blast!

RRC Hosts are here to help you have productive conversations about life and retirement. Feel free to tag them in a post or chat with them during workshops and meetups. In order to help share retirement wisdom with everyone, they are not available to meet one-on-one with members.

Our hosts are here to help.

Have questions? We're here.
