Susan, mother of two talented, strong women, grandmother of four amazing children, and retired chemical engineer, started listening to The Retirement Answer Man and other retirement podcasts after being widowed. The podcasts showed her how planning to spend in retirement is completely different than planning to save for retirement. This led her to join the Rock Retirement Club.  She initially joined for RRC’s analytical tools and, to her surprise, found the greatest value in learning from fellow members and staff (but the tools are pretty cool!).

RRC membership helped her rethink retirement beyond just finances and changed how she lives her life. Now, she's passionate about paying that forward—especially for members who are retiring solo or will navigate retirement on their own.
